3 to 10 consecutive gas years booking incentive
With reference to BBL Company’s charging methodology, BBLC introduces a non-discriminatory and transparent booking incentive to encourage more efficient use of available products.
This booking incentive consists of a discount on the transport tariff for a specific combination of booked standard capacity products under the following, cumulative conditions:
- The bookings concerned are four consecutive quarterly bookings of the Firm Reverse Flow product and four consecutive quarterly bookings of the Firm Forward product for at least three consecutive gas years and a maximum of ten consecutive gas years, which should be booked at the same moment in time, at a fixed tariff (apart from indexation). Please note that firm capacity products booked for a certain period are conditional firm as stated in Exhibit G of the General Terms and Conditions (GTCs).
- The first quarterly booking of the above four consecutive quarterly bookings has a start date of 1 October 2024 or the first of October of any following year.
- Each quarterly booking concerns a capacity of at least 240 MWh/h. If, due to the notification period of Implicit Allocation as described in the charging methodology, capacity is allocated pro rata and results in a quarterly booking less than 240 MWh/h, the respective quarterly booking is still eligible for the incentive.
- Usage rights with regards to capacity, being the rights obtained by a ‘transfer of use of transmission capacity’ on PRISMA secondary market, are not eligible for the incentive. Quarterly standard capacity rights traded via the PRISMA secondary market (assignment) can be used under the booking incentive.
- The incentive relates to a maximum of 1.5 GWh/h of the capacity to be offered up to and including 30 September 2036.
- Standard capacity products need to be booked under the booking incentive by means of Implicit Allocation.
- Booked quarterly standard capacity products or combinations thereof, with a future start date, may be used in their entirety under the booking incentive, provided that the above conditions are met. When used under the booking incentive, booked quarterly standard capacity products or combinations thereof retain their original, at the date of the booking, agreed tariff.
- The GTCs of BBL Company will apply to all bookings made under the booking incentive.
- BBL Company reserves the right to change the abovementioned conditions of the booking incentive or to withdraw the booking incentive from the market. Any change or withdrawal of the booking incentive will be announced at least two weeks in advance and will become effective on the date stated in the announcement. Withdrawal will not affect capacity products booked under this booking incentive.
The product structure, the booking incentive tariffs as well as the amount of capacity available of this booking incentive are shown in below tables.
