Announcement BBL physical flow switch to Forward Flow 01/10/2024
The BBL physical flow direction is currently in Reverse Flow mode (GB to NL). BBLC will switch the physical flow direction to Forward Flow (NL to GB) starting gas day 1 October 2024 06:00 CEST and is anticipated to be finalized by 7 October 2024 06:00 CEST.
Reminder: planned maintenance 2024
BBL’s annual planned maintenance period will take place during 4 gas days starting from Monday 23 September 2024 at 06:00 CEST. Activities will be resumed on Friday 27 September 2024 at 06:00 CEST.
Preannouncement planned maintenance 2025
Every year BBL Company performs planned maintenance. BBL Company would like to take the opportunity to preannounce the 15 - day maintenance window for 2025, which will take place between 1 September 2025 and 15 September 2025.
Periodic Consultation on Article 26 requirements of the Network Code on harmonised transmission tariff structures for gas (TAR NC), Regulation EU 2017/460
Chapter VII of the EU network on TAR NC, Regulation (EU) 2017/460, requires the national regulatory authority or the transmission system operator to carry out a periodic consultation on the information in Article 26.

Announcement of BBLC tariffs for Gas Year 2024 and beyond
BBLC has published its tariffs and starting multipliers for the upcoming Gas Year 2024 and beyond, which apply to Forward Flow (NL to GB) and Reverse Flow (GB to NL) capacity products offered via PRISMA and Implicit Allocations. These tariffs are effective from the 1st of July 2024 09:00 CET onwards. Until this date, BBLC's Gas Year 2023 tariffs are applicable.
Introduction of booking incentive
BBL Company (BBLC) is pleased to announce that it will introduce a booking incentive to encourage more efficient use of its available products. This booking incentive consists of a discount on the transport tariff for a specific combination of booked standard capacity products.
Changes in available technical capacities
In July 2023, BBL Company announced a temporary increase of firm technical available Reverse Flow capacity from 7,000,000 KWh/h to 7,699,193 kWh/h. BBLC is pleased to inform that this increased technical Reverse Flow capacity will remain available.

BBLC introduces seasonal tariff and DA, W/END and WDNW products
Starting 1st of May 2024 BBL Company will introduce a tariff discount for seasonal capacity products and will expand its capacity product portfolio by offering shorter term products.
Implementation enhanced pressure service 2024
On 2 April 2024, Ofgem approved the Interconnection Agreement and the Pressure Service Charges Agreement between BBL Company and National Gas Transmission which includes the Enhanced Pressure Service (EPS). The EPS makes it possible for BBL Company to increase the Reverse Flow capacity at IP Bacton from 7,699,193 kWh/h to 10 GWh/h. The increased pressure service will be implemented from 23 April 2024 onwards and is agreed upon to be on a best efforts and a temporary basis, applying up to and including Gas Day 31 December 2024.

The BBL physical flow direction is currently in Forward Flow mode (NL > GB). BBLC will switch the physical flow direction to Reverse Flow (GB > NL) starting gas day 31 March 2024 06:00 CEST. No daily capacity products will be offered on the PRISMA auction platform for the duration of the physical flow switch (estimated: one gas day). Actual information on the availability of capacity products can be found on the PRISMA platform only.
