Griffin Markets live on the BBLC IAM Platform

26 January 2026

BBL Company (BBLC) is pleased to announce that Griffin Markets will go live on 27th of January as the second broker connected to the BBLC Implicit Allocation Mechanism (IAM) platform. This expansion further enhances the options available to BBL shippers, enabling them to book capacity through the broker of their choice.

Following the successful launch of the IAM platform with Cavendish Markets as the first connected broker, the integration of Griffin Markets marks another important step in broadening the range of brokers that can support shippers in reserving BBLC capacity alongside their commodity transactions.

Strengthening market access and flexibility

The addition of Griffin Markets aligns with our strategy to:

  • keep booking options within IAM streamlined and accessible
  • offer shippers greater flexibility when linking capacity and commodity transactions
  • further support the functioning of the European gas market through transparent and efficient allocation mechanisms

In the coming period, BBL Company will continue to expand the IAM platform with two additional brokers: Marex Spectron and Tullet Prebon.

What shippers need to do

BBL shippers who wish to purchase transmission capacity via IAM must:
