Implicit Allocations

Implicit Allocation Mechanism (IAM) is a method to sell unbundled transmission capacity which is combined with an equivalent quantity of gas outside the PRISMA auction calendar. The key benefit of Implicit Allocation is that it allows shippers to get the exact needed transmission capacity allocated based on their gas commodity opportunity which they want to execute at times outside the PRISMA auction calendar. BBLC is allowed to offer up to a maximum of 90% of BBL’s technical capacity through Implicit Allocation.

The IA calendar FFRF shows a rolling overview of IAM sales dates per product. BBLC’s IAM partner is Cavendish Markets with products offered on PleXhub. Shippers who wish to buy transmission capacity through IAM must:

• Accept the BBL Company General Terms & Conditions
• Conclude a contractual agreement with Cavendish Markets BV
• Obtain access to the PleXhub platform

BBLC capacity products offered via IAM will have the same reserve tariff as products auctioned on the PRISMA platform. Information on tariffs can be found in the tariff section.
