Update on available Implicit Allocation capacities BBLC for calendar year 2022

BBLC is pleased to announce that it will reinstate capacities via Implicit Allocation for the remainder of the calendar year 2022. Shippers who would like to acquire capacity via Implicit Allocations are able to do so from the 6th of April 2022 09:00 CET onwards.

An overview of capacities which will be offered from the 6th of April 2022 09:00 CET via Implicit Allocation will be published on BBLC’s website and can be found at the bottom (download section) of this page.

Dutch Court Annuls ACM Decision on Inter-TSO Compensation for BBL Company

On 15 July 2025, the Dutch Trade and Industry Appeals Tribunal (CBb) concluded that the Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) lacked the authority to introduce and impose an Inter-Transmission System Operator TSO). Compensation (ITC) and annulled its decision. This judgment is final and not subject to further appeal.

Market Demand Assessment for Incremental Capacity 2025

In accordance with the incremental capacity process as described by NC CAM (Regulation 2017/459), interested parties are invited to submit non-binding demand indications for capacity above the current technical capacity of the BBL interconnector, using BBLC’s request form as published below. Announcement: BBLC tariffs for Gas Year 2025 and beyond

BBLC has published its tariffs and starting multipliers for the upcoming Gas Year 2025 and beyond, which apply to Forward Flow (NL to GB) and Reverse Flow (GB to NL) capacity products offered via PRISMA and Implicit Allocations. These tariffs are effective from the 7th of July 2025 09:00 CEST onwards. Until this date, BBLC’s Gas Year 2024 tariffs are applicable.
